Celebrating 50 Years of Service to Our Community

The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley was founded in 1974 to secure justice and uphold the rights of low-income residents and communities of color living in Santa Clara County through legal representation and systemic advocacy.

Today, this work continues with a team of nearly 100 attorneys, social workers, community advocates, and staff, along with pro bono volunteers. Together we ensure that everyone can choose a safe and affordable place to live. We give a voice to children and youth, helping them go on to lead healthy, productive lives. We secure stability for people with mental health disabilities. Students can receive a quality education regardless of their income or circumstances. And our community can rely on quality health care and financial security.
